It is also used by Distributors to populate all their internal e-commerce, online and back-end systems.

How does SpecPage benefit Distributors?

Is the SpecPage ProductSource an online catalog and ordering system?

While it can provide some of the features of an online catalog system, ProductSource is best used as the information that populates your online catalog and ordering systems. No matter what system you use, without good product information your online system will not attract the customers you are looking for and will frustrate for those that do use it. We can and have worked with several online ordering software suppliers to help improve this experience greatly.

What is the cost to a Distributor?

Basic Membership: There is no charge for Distributors who would simply like to search for products from national Suppliers.

Custom Membership: Allows Distributors to customize the information, upload to their own systems, generate leads from Anything4Restaurants, make custom catalogs, add their own Suppliers and more for a annual subscription fee of $2400.

Premium Membership: For even more advanced features, we offer a Premium package that is priced on an individual basis depending on the Distributor’s needs.

How can a Distributor access product information for Suppliers that are not SpecPage members?

Just tell us what Suppliers you would like to get access to. SpecPage will contact these suppliers on your behalf to work with them to make their information available on the SpecPage system. You will greatly increase the value of the ProductSource system by getting as many of your Suppliers as possible to subscribe. SpecPage will work with you through webinars or direct meetings with your Suppliers to demonstrate the value of SpecPage. Many of the Distributors using SpecPage today include the cost within their marketing programs.

Can a Distributor connect their own product numbers to the Supplier product numbers?

By subscribing to ProductSource at the Custom level, you will be able to map your product numbers to the Supplier's product numbers. You will be provided a template to enter in this information. If you would like to have SpecPage perform this task, our Mapping Service is available at a one time per item charge.
